At ISLIP Flow Controls, all of our fabricated strainers are carefully hydro-tested before being shipped. This unit is about to be filled with water and pumped up to the appropriate test pressure, which will be based on its order specifications. We can use these hydraulic clamps to help quickly and easily seal the unit for this test. After withstanding the pressure for a specific length of time, the unit is drained, and is now ready for finishing touches before we send it out the door.
